I loved reading your piece about what travel means to you. For me, travel has always meant coming closer to nature. I love visiting national parks around the world. Visiting nature is what's made me so acutely aware of what I want my legacy to be. I also feel when things go wrong during travel is when you grow and learn and become a better, more aware and more confident person. A few years in a row, every time I would go to India I would have some luggage issue. By the 4th time I was so humdrum about it..and kind of excited to see what else could go wrong.

I agree so much with what you said! When things go wrong during travel, it definitely teaches a sort of patience and resiliency that comes in handy in everyday life. I look back at some of my tougher travel moments and, to this day, I still lean on those memories to help me through life's problems. Those moments showed me my inner strength and problem-solving skills. Thanks for sharing this comment!
